Dolphin Tale

In theaters now

Winter, Clearwaters' newest star will have her story shown in this new movie about her rescue and fight to live against all odds.  Snared in a crab trap on the east coast of Florida, Winter is rescued but looses her tail.  She's in critical condition.  Winter beats the odds and survives and learns to swim without her tail and is eventually fitted with a prosthetic tail.  Winter has been an inspiration to all. The movie opens Sept 23 but be sure to come see Winter at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter lives at the center with Panama and Nicholas along with other dolphins, turtles and otters who all have special stories of their own.The center is a rescue, rehab and release facility that is home to dolphins, etc. that are no longer able to survive in the wild. See the movie but make it a point to visit Clearwater's Marine Aquarium.
