Tuesdays 9am-3pm year round

Fresh fruits and vegetables, live music, plants, crafts, baked goods and more. On the second Tuesday of every month, Gulfport's free clothing swap takes place during the Fresh Market. Swap hours are 9am to 1pm and takes place near The Outpost on the corner of Beach Blvd. and 30th Ave. South. Participants may bring up to five gently used garments, shoes or accessories to exchange for vouchers that may be used to select items brought in by other participants. Clothing may be for women, men or children. Please provide hangers for all garments to be used in the swap. Vouchers may also be purchased for $3 each.

‘Ageless Grace’ Classes

Every other Thursday from 11 to 11:45 a.m.

The Clearwater Aging Well Center is offering Ageless Grace classes, a gentle, chair-based movement fitness class.

The classes were developed in cooperation with a Duke University-affiliated hospital. The program includes 21 specific movements that maximize joint mobility, spinal flexibility, right/left brain coordination, cognitive function and balance to promote complete health.

Registration is required and fees run from three and five dollars per class with and without City of Clearwater recreation passes.

Holiday Lights In The Gardens

The Florida Botanical Gardens will feature Holiday Lights in the Gardens every evening. Laser lights, flora and fauna displays, and decorated trees, a seven-foot gingerbread house with more than 600 lights, a 30-foot tall white swan and a five-foot tropical parrot create an array of lights lining paths with nightly free entertainment and visits from Santa. Suggested donation $2 per person (13 years and older). Special events: Gift and Plant Sale in the Gardens on Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a dog parade on Dec. 29 starting at 1 p.m.

6th Annual Miracle on Cleveland Street

Clearwater’s Cleveland Street turns into a holiday wonderland complete with Florida’s largest natural snow slide, holiday crafts, train rides, inflatable attractions and an outdoor ice skating rink. Entertainment includes tap dancers from the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts and live music by Late Night Brass. Jon “Bowzer” Bauman, a founding member of Sha-Na-Na will be the Master of Ceremonies.

Winter’s Dolphin Tale Adventure will be open to the public with free admission. Kids can have their photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. This ten-day sand sculpting festival features Clearwater's sugar sand.  Near Pier 60, 1,000 tons of Clearwater Beach's world famous sugar sands will be creatively carved into the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit, an artistic walk-through display in a 15,000-square-foot tent.  Look for a variety of free activities on the beach including a professional sand sculpting competition, sand sculpting clinics, speed sand demonstrations, children's play area, and entertainment.
