However, the most popular event at the beach is its sunsets at Pier 60 heralded every night from February through September and Thursday through Monday the rest of the year. Flocking at the Pier 60, people celebrate the setting sun of Florida along the pristine coast of the Clearwater amidst a lot of fun.

The Clearwater area boasts of some fine museums of the world dedicated to the glory of arts, history and science. Aquariums and Fishing
Visiting world-class aquariums and fishing at the bays of Clearwater are really a thrilling activity at the beach. Engaged in educating the public, rehabilitation, rescue, research and release of injured and sick animals, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Inc. (CMA) is a Florida non-profit organization. The most notable residents of this aquarium include sea turtles, river otters and dolphins. The Florida Aquarium in Tampa is yet another non-profit institution committed to public entertainment, conservation and education. Home for over 10,000 aquatic animals and plants, the place astounds every visitor with its wonderful ambience. Since 1995, more than six million people have visited the aquarium.
For people who love fishing, the Pier Bait House is an excellent vent. The variety of catches that one might get here ranges into shark, Flounder, Snook, sea bass or amberjack. Fishing Charters, fishing pole rental, snacks and baits can be arranged by the office on contact. The Pier bait House is open on all days between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm.
Getaway with Nature
For the lovers of nature, animals and plants, Clearwater has so much to give. The Busch Gardens at the Tampa Bay is set on African theme with more than 2,700 animals. Besides being one of the largest zoological institutions of the U.S., the park also offers several famous rides, live animal shows, and water sports.
Moccasin Lake Nature Park is an ideal choice for retreat into the woods. A stroll at the nature trails of the park is an exciting occasion to encounter ospreys, turtles, alligators, butterflies and egrets apart from non-venomous snakes, fish, amphibians, birds of prey and songbirds.

The Pinellas trail is an ideal place to enjoy strolling, jogging or bicycle riding. Set in a 34-mile greenway corridor, the road links several wonderful parks, coastal areas, and residential neighborhoods with eight convenient overpasses, bike racks and refreshment shops.

For people who love swims and rides, three places at the Clearwater beach are noteworthy. The versatile Clearwater Municipal Marina houses a wide collection of fishing and charters, dinner cruises, sightseeing boats, parasailing, personal watercraft, and dolphin tours.

Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center is one of the largest such centers
in the south. If hosts many hundreds of performance throughout
the year.
Clearwater Marina - A well established marina located
near Clearwater Beach, offering modern facilities for boating, fishing,
sailing, charter boating, parasailing and sight-seeing tours. Several
day and half-day fishing charters boats operate from this marina.
Biking - Much of the area is bicycling friendly
offering bike lanes and trails. The Pinellas Trail is a 34 mile
greenway corridor traversing throughout the region.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium - A small but interesting
animal and aquarium facility where one can see rescued, live dolphins, otters, and sea turtles.
This nonprofit facility is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation
and release of injured marine mammals.
Sports - Bright House Networks Fields is home to
the Philadelphia Phillies for their spring training. Tickets
are available at the ballpark located on the west side of U.S. 19 just
north of Drew Street.
Busch Gardens, Tampa
May 25 through August 19, Busch Gardens in Tampa is offering a different
park after dark. The warm summer nights will fill with a festive
atmosphere of sights, sounds, food and drink. And, of course,
there are those thrilling roller coasters!
